Getting the support you need, the way you need it.
I need someone to check on me or someone to help
We can partner you with a deacon to check on you by phone, schedule a visit, and help connect you with resources if you need help. Deacons can also bring home communion.
I need someone to listen
A Stephen Minister is trained to listen and walk with you as you move through challenges in your life. This confidential companion can be provided at your request.
I need support with my mental health
We have support groups for mental health for adults and adolescents. We can also refer you to a licensed mental health counselor right here in our building.
I need pastoral care
Our pastors offer confidential, one on one counseling, prayer, visitation and support.
I need a group who gets what I am going through
We offer support groups for addiction, caregiving, grief and other challenges.
The First Presbyterian Church of Maitland Foundation
Organized in 1979, The Foundation is a separate and distinct entity independent of the Church operating funds. Its purpose is twofold:
-
To establish a means for individuals to give donations (money, stocks, land, etc.) in such a manner that gifts are invested with the intent that they continue to grow and increase in perpetuity just as Jesus described in Matthew 13.
-
To establish a means for individuals to request funding for charitable causes, personal emergencies and religious purposes. The Foundation reviews the nature of requests and administers the fund disbursement.
To request funds from the Foundation, complete the request form and return it to the church, or email it to mlosasso@maitlandpres.org. The Foundation will respond to your requests in a timely manner.
You can make a tax-deductible gift to the Foundation by writing a check to the First Presbyterian Church of Maitland Foundation, or contact a member of the Foundation to help you to discern the best way for you to contribute.
