We are looking for volunteers to help out at Second Harvest Food Bank on October 2nd. Here is the information for October 2nd.

Minimum Age: 10+
Closed toe and closed heel shoes are required for everyone
Physical Requirements: Standing for long periods of time and lifting boxes/items
Chaperones: 2 chaperones per 5 students
Mask Policy: As of June 1st, 2021, volunteers will be able to volunteer without their masks, provided they show their COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card to the volunteer receptionists upon their arrival. You will need to show your card only once, we will not make a copy of it, and you will simply be marked in our system as vaccinated. COVID-19 Vaccination Record Cards need to show proof of both doses of the Pfizer or Moderna Vaccine or the single dose of the J&J Vaccine to satisfy this requirement. Those that have not been vaccinated or wish not to show their Vaccination Record Card will be asked to kindly keep wearing their masks.
Temperature: The warehouse temp is typically similar to the temperature outside due to the deliveries and pick-ups that occur. Ex. if it’s cooler outside, layers are recommended, warmer outside, shorts are acceptable.
Bottled Water: Provided in the break room for all volunteers
Onsite Eating Space: Second Harvest does not have space onsite for groups to each lunch before, after, or in-between shifts due to space limitations unless utilizing our Catering for Good services.
Volunteers will have the option of either meeting us at Second Harvest at 8:15AM or carpooling from the church at 7:50AM. A sign up sheet will be in at the Welcome Center in the Narthex. Please sign up by the week of the 19th.
