The Finance Committee and the Session approved a 2024/2025 budget based upon a pledged income of $573,487. This year’s budget has a surplus of $616 at year end.
As of February 28th year-to-date:
Pledge income is under budget by $12,300.
Expenses are over budget by $53,500. The over budget expense is all MPC campus
repairs. Repairs include: HVAC repair and replacement, multiple roof repairs, Family Life
Center repairs and updates and MPC Preschool maintenance. The funding for these
expenses came from the Capital Improvement Reserve (CIR) account.
The CIR is funded by monthly income from the cell tower (T-Mobil) on campus and
congregational donations.
At the end of February our overall financial position budget year to date is a surplus of
$3,500.
The MPC operating checking account balance as of the end of February is $164,071.
The Operating Reserve Fund account balance as of the end of February is $159,500.
This account represents all surplus funds, year over year at the budget year end.

If you have never pledged, now is the time to start. Start small and increase your pledge as you are able. If you are unsure that you can meet your pledge, pledge less and increase your giving when you can. Also, if you do pledge and are unable to fulfill the pledge, please let us know so we can adjust the budget.
Thank you for your continued financial support of Maitland Presbyterian Church. Your pledges make it possible to continue to minister and support organizations in need throughout our community and abroad, maintain our beautiful facility so we can worship together in our sanctuary and pay our dedicated staff team. We cannot do it without you!
