Christmas at Maitland Pres
Celebrate Christmas with us!
Throughout Advent, we will have our regular services at 9:30 (contemporary) and 11:00 (traditional). On December 21, we will have one service at 10am for a special morning of Christmas music! There will also be one service on December 28 at 10am as we wind down the holiday season.
On Christmas Eve we will have three different services. You can read more about these services below. We would love to celebrate with you and your family! At Maitland Presbyterian, we are an inclusive community committed to loving like Jesus. We openly affirm and support all people of every race, nationality, immigration status, gender identity, and sexual orientation.
5 PM Family Service
Join us on Christmas Eve at 5pm for a spontaneous retelling of the Christmas story . . . starring you! Kids can choose to take part as shepherds, angels, animals, or other favorite characters, with costumes and props provided. No rehearsals, just walk the red carpet and join us on set for this fun telling of Jesus’ birth! We’ll sing our favorite Christmas carols, hear the Christmas story, light candles, and close with Silent Night, all in one 30 minute service. Families can also choose to simply watch and enjoy the show. After the service, stay for popcorn and special treats. Christmas pajamas are encouraged! We’d love to celebrate Christmas Eve with you this year.
7 PM Acoustic Service
This service is perfect for those looking for a quieter, cozy Christmas Eve service. It will feature Christmas carols sung with guitar and a message, ending with Silent Night and candlelight.

9 PM Traditional
Join us for your favorite traditional Christmas hymns led by the choir, a message, and communion. The service concludes with Silent Night and candlelight.
