Maitland Presbyterian Church offers the following college scholarship opportunities to its active members each year.

The Virginia Laubach Scholarship was established in 2007 by the late Bill Laubach in honor of his late wife, Virginia (Ginny), to assist candidates who are pursuing a  degree in medicine and nursing. Once selected, scholars will continue to receive the award each year until graduation, provided that they meet certain requirements. Two scholarships are available for the Fall Term of 2022.

The Mildred McMahan Scholarship was established to support candidates for the baccalaureate degree. Many scholars have benefited from this award for over thirty-seven years. Once selected in their freshman year, scholars will continue to receive the award for each of four years provided that they meet certain requirements. Two scholarships are available for entering freshmen in the Fall  Term of 2022. Students who have completed some of their baccalaureate degrees are invited to apply as it is possible that other positions may come open.

If you would like to apply, please contact MaryAnne LoSasso at mlosasso@maitlandpres.org for eligibility requirements and an application.

The deadline for the submittal of all application material is June 15. Recipients will be notified in writing as soon as a decision is made by the Scholarship Committee.
