ONGOING BRAVE LITTLE BOOKSHELF CHILDREN’S LIBRARY

We are building a new lending library for brave children (and their brave adults) who want the world to be a better, more just place where people love like Jesus. View our Amazon wish list on the children’s page of our website to purchase a book to donate and help us fill the shelves. Books can be dropped off in Pastor Megan’s office.

SECOND HARVEST SERVE EVENT

BEACH DAY

Saturday July 18th from 10am - 3pm

Weather permitting, join us at Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach.

BITES AND BALLOTS: A Nonpartisan Voter Education Event

Saturday, August 1 from 11am - 1pm in the Sanctuary

Hosted in partnership with League of Women Voters

BLESSING OF THE BACKPACKS

Sunday, August 9 during the 9:30 service

Teachers, school staff and students (from preschool through college!) are encouraged to bring their backpack to worship for a special blessing and prayer to start the school year.

COMMUNITY DINNER

Saturday, August 22.

This will be the third of the new community dinner program, where you can sign up to have dinner in the home of a church member for a casual, fun evening.

POPSICLES ON THE PLAYGROUND

Sunday, August 30 at 10:30

Families with young children are invited to the playground after the 9:30 service for popsicles (and cold brew coffee for the parents).

September:

FALL KICK OFF SUNDAY September 13th at 10am

This is the Sunday each year when we have one service and encourage everyone to come together after the summer and kick off our fall programming at the church. We have a potluck after church including bounce houses and activities for all ages.

BIBLE STUDY AND DISCUSSION FOR SUICIDE AWARENESS

September 20th at 10:30 in Fellowship Hall

Join us in the Fellowship Hall for a special discussion and Bible study after the 9:30 service to learn more about what the Bible does (and does not) say about suicide.

We have reserved the entire River Forest Campground, on the shores of the St. Johns River in Ocala National Forest, in DeLand, for a weekend of fun, fellowship and food.
